Every Valley business and event can be on My Valley Day for free, ranked on merit. If you want more attention than that, there are exactly three things to buy. Travelers never pay for anything.
Your basic listing
Name, address, map, website, category, and your events — free, forever, whether you claim the listing or not. Nothing you pay for changes where you rank in search or whether you show up in the Build My Day planner. Paid options only change how prominently you're displayed, and they're always labelled.

Straight answers
- Do I have to pay to be listed?
- No. Every venue, attraction, and event in the Shenandoah Valley can be listed for free and is ranked on relevance alone.
- Does paying move me up in search?
- No. Paid options change how you're displayed — a fuller page, a featured badge, or a labelled sponsored card. They never change organic ranking, and sponsored cards never appear inside Build My Day plans.
- What's the difference between Event Boost and Featured Placement?
- Event Boost promotes one dated event for a week and then stops on its own. Featured Placement is an ongoing sponsored card for your business that runs weekly or monthly until you cancel.
- Do I need an Enhanced Listing before buying anything else?
- No. Each option works on its own. Most owners start with the free claim, add an Enhanced Listing when they have good photos, and only advertise when they have something specific to promote.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Subscriptions cancel from your dashboard and stay active until the end of the billing period. Event Boost is a one-time charge and never renews.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- All major credit and debit cards through our secure checkout. Tax is calculated automatically at checkout.
- What if I'm not the business owner?
- You can still submit corrections, new listings, and report closures through our community submission form. Only verified owners can purchase paid options.
