The Shenandoah Valley is dense with breweries, wineries, trails, museums, theaters, playgrounds, and small-town main streets — but the information is scattered across hundreds of websites, social feeds, and PDFs. My Valley Day pulls that into one place and turns it into trip ideas you can actually use.
How we collect data
We blend automated ingestion with human review. Our scraper respectsrobots.txt, tracks the source of every field, and flags low-confidence records for an editor before they go live. We never hide where a fact came from — each listing links back to the source.
The team
My Valley Day is a small project built by people who actually live in and love the Valley. We pay attention to seasonality, road conditions, and the difference between a quiet Tuesday and a packed festival weekend.
