Situated in the historic heart of Old Town Winchester, Village Square Restaurant invites you to experience contemporary American cuisine infused with international influences. Since opening its doors in 2003, this establishment has made its home in a building with a rich and varied past, having once served as an oil and fragrance shop, an auto dealership, and even a nonprofit grocery in the 1920s before becoming Vivian's Golden Kitchen diner in the 1950s. In 2005, the restaurant expanded into the adjacent building, creating V2 Bar and Lounge. This addition offers a distinct bar and lounge atmosphere, complete with several private dining rooms and a wide selection of spirits, specializing in bourbon and whiskeys. This building also boasts its own history, having previously housed Miller's Drug Store, which was once the oldest continuously operating drug store in the United States. Intriguingly, the rear room of V2 served as a speakeasy during Prohibition, discreetly frequented by regulars while the drugstore at the front provided alcohol for medicinal purposes. Both buildings contribute to the charm of the establishment through their historical layers. The restaurant emphasizes great service and a comfortable, casual dining atmosphere, making it a welcoming spot for a memorable meal.

We do not offer any on site parking. The lot behind our restaurant is reserved for tenants in the apartments above the restaurant. Park at any Auto Park located around the walking mall, the closest one to our restaurant is on Braddock Street. There is also metered street parking available.
