Lewis Mountain is a small, wooded campground at Mile 57.5 in Shenandoah's Central District. Just 30 tent/RV sites (no hookups), and the only NPS campground in the park operated first-come, first-served — no reservations. Showers, laundry, and a small camp store sit on-site. Best bet for spontaneous Shenandoah camping in summer.
